I found and downloaded a newer version of KodakCMS.dll and tried deleting the old version from C:Program Files (x86)ScanWizard 5 and pasting in the newer file, but that didn't work--same error.
I called the scanner manufacturer (Medion), and the tech said they didn't yet have any drivers for Windows 7 and couldn't guarantee that they would. He suggested trying to run the program in compatibility mode, which I did (various versions of XP and Vista). Still the same error.
Any other suggestions for how I might get this thing working?
